US President Donald Trump on Thursday (Jan 8) announced that the United States will now be conducting land strikes against drug cartels. Speaking during an interview with Fox News, the POTUS confirmed, "We are gonna start now hitting land, with regard to the cartels". However, he did not share details on where and when land strikes may begin. This was Trump's first interview since America carried out a shock stealth operation which resulted in the capture of Venezuela president Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores.
