Iran strike fallout: Shi’ite protests erupt in North.

Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) protested in several northern states, including Gombe, Niger, Kano, Bauchi, Yobe, and Sokoto, over the reported killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a US-Israeli airstrike. The Nigeria Police Force has heightened surveillance in the North Central, North East, and North West regions amidst tensions in the Middle East.

The IMN expressed deep sorrow over Khamenei's death and vowed to support Iran, while the National Islamic Centre called on the Nigerian government to condemn the aggression and revoke military agreements with the US and Israel. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) urged Nigerian Muslims to remain peaceful and vigilant.
