Mojtaba Khamenei named supreme leader; Israel bombs Tehran

At the same time, the war between Iran and Israel has intensified. Israeli forces have reportedly carried out new airstrikes on fuel depots and strategic infrastructure in Tehran, sending large fires and smoke into the sky. 

The strikes are part of a broader military campaign aimed at weakening Iran’s military capabilities and leadership. Israeli officials have even warned they may continue targeting senior Iranian figures involved in the government or military command. 

The conflict has already spread across several parts of the Middle East, with drone attacks, missile launches, and strikes reported in places such as Lebanon, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. Casualties among soldiers and civilians have also been reported as the fighting escalates.
