NYSC opens portal for registration March 12

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that its online registration portal will open for prospective corps members on March 12, 2026. The registration exercise is scheduled to run from March 12 to March 18, 2026, giving eligible Nigerian graduates a one-week window to complete their mobilisation process.

According to the scheme, the registration is strictly for graduates whose names appear on the approved Senate or Academic Board lists uploaded by their institutions. Only candidates whose details have been successfully submitted by their schools on the NYSC portal will be able to proceed with the online registration.

The management of the scheme advised prospective corps members to ensure that their personal details, including names on the National Identity Management Commission records, match those on the Senate list and the NYSC portal to avoid issues during registration. Applicants were also encouraged to follow official NYSC communication channels for further guidelines and updates ahead of the mobilisation exercise.
