GUMI SAYS" TRUMP BOMBING OF TERRORISTS IS WAR AGAINST ISLAM

Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has condemned the U.S. military bombing of terrorists in Sokoto on Christmas Day, describing it as a war against Islam. In a statement in response to the U.S. military strike against terrorists on Friday, Mr Gumi said, “The attacks are symbolic of a harbinger (of a) neo-Crusade war against Islam. Attack on Sokoto, where 90% are Muslim with no imminent danger of terror, while the real threat is in Maiduguri and on a Christmas Eve, with the claim of protecting against Christian genocide, says a lot.” The Muslim cleric, who has continually opposed military action against bandits and terrorists, said, “The U.S. involvement in Nigeria will attract the real anti-U.S. forces, making our land the theater of war. The USA’s involvement in Nigeria, citing coming to ‘protect Christians’, will ultimately polarise our nation and infringe on our sovereignty.” Berating the U.S. as a terrorist nation, Mr Gumi said terrorists should be killed only by “holy hands, not by ...

Hegseth, who met with the Nigerian delegation that visited US after President Donald Trump declared Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern, said the terrorists found out that his department “is always ready”. “The President was clear last month: the killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria (and elsewhere) must end. “The @DeptofWar is always ready, so ISIS found out tonight — on Christmas. More to come… Grateful for Nigerian government support & cooperation.” In a statement on Friday morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the airstrikes were launched as part of efforts to address the persistent threat of terrorism and violent extremism. US President, Donald Trump, Wishes Dead Terrorists killed In Nigeria Last Night By US Airstrike Merry Christmas  He wrote: “Tonight, at my direction as Commander in Chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria, who have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years, and even Centuries! I have previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was. The Department of War executed numerous perfect strikes, as only the United States is capable of doing. Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper. May God Bless our Military, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, including the dead Terrorists, of which there will be many more if their slaughter of Christians continues.

SOWORE MADE THE STATEMENT ON HIS SOCIAL MEDIA HANDLES ON FRIDAY , IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT MADE BY PRESIDENT OF U.S.A, PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP ABOUT THE OPERATION AGAINST TERRORISTS IN THE REGION( SOKOTO STATE).

Image
Referring to the confirmed strike on a village in Sokoto State, Sowore stated that the operation reflects a fundamental disregard for Nigeria and Nigerians on the part of the U.S. President. “My position remains unchanged. Judging by the nature of the confirmed strike on a village in Sokoto, it is clear that the U.S. President under whose authority this operation occurred neither understands nor genuinely cares about Nigeria or Nigerians. "It is deeply troubling that Nigeria (Africa’s most populous nation) lacks the capable and sovereign leadership required to protect its people and its territory,” he said. Sowore further asserted that the country has been reduced to a bystander, with its sovereignty violated under the direction of U.S. authorities. He added that only true, tested, and informed leadership, not imperiled neoconservatives operating from Washington, can protect Nigerians. "As a result, the country has been reduced to a bystander while its sovereignty is violated...
