Breaking News: Pakistan Declared That The Global Muslim Community Fully Supports Tehran's Right To Self Defense

Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent threats against Iran, led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, asserting that the global Muslim community stands in solidarity with Tehran’s right to defend itself.
In a report from the Iran News Agency dated January 7, 2026, Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, a special representative for the Pakistani Prime Minister, emphasized that Iran has previously countered aggression and is prepared to do so again. He stated that the entire Islamic world backs Iran’s right to self-defense and portrayed any possible Israeli military action as an attack not just on Iran, but on the entire Muslim Ummah.
Furthermore, he voiced Pakistan’s support for the Palestinian people, advocating for a united effort to address the ongoing crisis in Gaza, where countless innocent lives have been lost. He linked the situations in Palestine, Yemen, and Iran, framing them as interconnected battles against Israeli and Western domination.
Ashrafi remarked, “Iran has responded to Israeli aggression before and will defend itself against any further military endeavors; the Islamic world endorses the Islamic Republic’s right to self-defense.”
Additionally, he criticized the Israeli government’s recent decision to recognize Somaliland’s statehood as an illegitimate act that undermines Somalia’s sovereignty and threatens global peace and security.
