BREAKING NEWS: Trumps Orders US Army's Intense Military Strikes On Venezuela. Watch Video!

Caracas, Venezuela has come under intense fire of US aerial strikes. Low flying planes and helicopters can be seen putting the country under heavy bombardments.

Background to this development can be thought along some lines;

1. The Trump administration has repeatedly framed its military actions near Venezuela as part of an expanded war on drug trafficking and “narco-terrorism.” In recent months, U.S. forces have struck vessels the U.S. government labeled as drug-related, and Washington has placed bounties on Maduro and Venezuelan officials accused of involvement in narcotics networks. 

2) Claims of illegitimate government and “regime change” rhetoric

Trump and allies have accused Maduro of being illegitimate and linked to criminal networks — language that critics see as a pretext for stronger intervention. Venezuela and other nations have accused the U.S. of seeking regime change and control over Venezuelan resources (like oil and minerals). 

3) Military buildup and legal framing

Over recent months, the U.S. deployed warships and troops near Venezuelan waters under a counternarcotics justification, and senior U.S. officials have described the situation as a formal armed conflict against drug cartels.

Venezuela president, Nicholas Maduro has dispelled some of these claims earlier in which he said he had a :good' phone conversation with president Trump.  In the video, he said "If America is interested in Venezuela oil, they should let us negotiate" Venezuela officials have criticized the airstrikes as unnecessary military aggression on Venezuela by the United States.
