If Obi Didn't Get The ADC Ticket, Come Back, I Will Work And Try Get The Ticket In LP - Datti

The Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has told the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi to return to the Labour Party if he doesn’t get the presidential ticket in the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
This statement was contained in a viral video from 0:33 that was posted on the official X handle of DAILY TRUST TV on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
This is coming after the former governor of Anambra state officially joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
In the video that surfaced online, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed stated that Peter Obi is a man that he has so much respect for. He said he will ensure that Peter Obi gets the LP ticket if he decides to return to the party.
Here is what Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed said in the viral video;
“If he (Peter Obi) doesn’t get the ADC ticket, come back please, I will work and try to get the ticket for you in Labour Party. I will try and mend the ways between him and whoever that’s not in good terms with him”.

  British Nigerian boxer and former heavyweight champion,  Anthony Joshua   was involved in a road accident on Monday 29th December along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria  Gbenga Omotosho, Lagos commissioner for information, said the crash occurred around the Shagamu interchange area of the highway.
