"When Sheikh Gumi Went To Meet Those Boys In The Forest, I Invited Him To Come and See Me" - Obasanjo

According to a report by Nigerian Tribune, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed details of a private discussion he held with Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi concerning insecurity in Nigeria’s forests and the fortification of bandit hideouts
  Obasanjo said the meeting took place following Gumi’s widely reported visits to forest encampments of armed bandits
   Obasanjo stated that he invited Sheikh Gumi to his residence after the cleric returned from his encounters with the bandits.
   During the meeting, Gumi reportedly gave a firsthand account of the conditions in the forest, describing the security situation as far more complex than official statements suggested.

BREAKING: Anthony Joshua Involved In Road Crash In Nigeria. Two Lives Lost.

  British Nigerian boxer and former heavyweight champion,  Anthony Joshua   was involved in a road accident on Monday 29th December along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria  Gbenga Omotosho, Lagos commissioner for information, said the crash occurred around the Shagamu interchange area of the highway. He added that the Lagos state government promptly deployed an ambulance to the scene. The Lexus SUV in which the British Nigerian boxer was said to have crashed into a stationary truck parked by the roadside. Two people driving with him in the car died on the spot according to eye witness. AJ was said to have survived with minor injuries.
