Will Christians Be Killing Christians? Sheikh Ahmad Gumi Dismantles 'Genocide' Claims, Blasts Foreign Narrative

According to our reporter, Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has strongly rejected claims that Christians are being targeted for genocide in Nigeria, describing the narrative as illogical and misleading. Speaking in an interview withDaily Trust, Gumi questioned how such accusations could stand when Christians currently occupy key positions in Nigeria’s security leadership.
He pointed out that the Minister of Defence and the Chief of Defence Staff are both Christians, asking pointedly whether they would preside over the killing of their own people.
Gumi insisted that the Nigerian government did not invite recent foreign military actions, claiming external forces “forced themselves” into the situation.
The cleric further accused former U.S. President Donald Trump of exploiting religious sentiment as a cover for intervention.
According to him, Trump’s record shows religious and immigrant bias, suggesting ulterior motives behind the genocide claims. Gumi warned Nigerians to be wary of foreign narratives used as smokescreens to justify external aggression.

  British Nigerian boxer and former heavyweight champion,  Anthony Joshua   was involved in a road accident on Monday 29th December along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria  Gbenga Omotosho, Lagos commissioner for information, said the crash occurred around the Shagamu interchange area of the highway.
