WHY THE SUN πAND THE MOONπ LIVE IN THE SKY.
Long ago, the Sun and the Moon lived together on the earth as close friends. The Sun was bright and powerful, while the Moon was calm and gentle. Their home was peaceful, but the Sun had a problem — he loved visitors. Every day, he invited animals, spirits, and people to his house. At first, the Moon welcomed everyone kindly. But soon, the visitors became too many. They filled the rooms, the yard, and even the cooking pots. Some guests refused to leave, while others made noise and caused trouble. The Moon grew tired and worried, as there was no longer space or peace in their home.
One day, after a long argument, the Moon decided to leave quietly. She rose into the sky, where there was silence and room to rest. The Sun later realized his mistake and missed his friend deeply. Wanting to be close to her again, he followed her into the sky.
That is why today, the Sun rules the day and the Moon watches over the night — both shining from above, forever reminding us that too much of anything can drive even the closest friends apart.
