Russia-Ukraine War Escalates as New Missile Attacks Hit Major Cities.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine intensified again as several Ukrainian cities reported fresh missile and drone attacks overnight. Explosions were heard in major urban centres, with emergency services rushing to affected neighbourhoods where residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

Ukrainian officials said air defence systems intercepted several incoming missiles, but some managed to strike residential areas, leaving casualties and forcing residents to seek shelter. Rescue teams worked through the night to clear rubble and assist injured civilians as authorities assessed the full scale of the destruction.

International observers say the renewed strikes reflect a dangerous phase of the war, which has already lasted several years. Western governments have continued to pledge military and humanitarian support to Ukraine, while diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire remain uncertain.

BREAKING: Anthony Joshua Involved In Road Crash In Nigeria. Two Lives Lost.

  British Nigerian boxer and former heavyweight champion,  Anthony Joshua   was involved in a road accident on Monday 29th December along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria  Gbenga Omotosho, Lagos commissioner for information, said the crash occurred around the Shagamu interchange area of the highway. He added that the Lagos state government promptly deployed an ambulance to the scene. The Lexus SUV in which the British Nigerian boxer was said to have crashed into a stationary truck parked by the roadside. Two people driving with him in the car died on the spot according to eye witness. AJ was said to have survived with minor injuries.
