HOME AT LAST.

Many years ago, a young boy named Tunde lived in a quiet village with his parents. Life in the village was simple. Every morning he helped his father on the farm and every evening his mother prepared warm meals for the family. Although their home was small, it was filled with laughter, love, and peace.

As Tunde grew older, he began to dream about the big city. Travelers who passed through the village often spoke about tall buildings, bright lights, and endless opportunities. They talked about money, success, and exciting adventures.
Tunde listened carefully and thought to himself, “If I go to the city, I will become rich and successful.”

One day, he told his parents about his plan.
His mother was worried. “The world outside is not always easy,” she said gently.
But Tunde was determined. His father gave him a little money and said, “No matter where life takes you, remember this will always be your home.”
With hope in his heart, Tunde left for the city.

At first, the city amazed him. The roads were busy, people hurried everywhere, and the buildings seemed to touch the sky. But soon reality set in. Life was harder than he imagined. Jobs were difficult to find. Some people he trusted cheated him. Many nights he went to bed hungry.

Months passed. The city that once looked exciting now felt cold and lonely.
One evening, after another long and tiring day, Tunde sat alone on a bench. He thought about his parents, the peaceful evenings in the village, and the warm meals his mother cooked.
Tears filled his eyes.

He finally realized something important: while he had been chasing success, he had left behind the one place where he truly belonged.

The next morning, Tunde made a decision. He gathered his few belongings and began the long journey back to his village.
When he arrived, the sun was setting. As he walked down the familiar dusty road, he saw his parents standing in front of their house.

that moment, Tunde felt a peace he had not felt in a long time. The house was still small, the village still simple—but his heart was full.

After all his wandering, he had finally realized a powerful truth:

There is no place like home.
