AFLC 2026 PROJECTS
The Africa Future Leaders Contest 2026 (AFLC 2026), the maiden edition of ABL International Limited’s initiative to raise a new generation of African leaders, is calling on Nigerians, public figures, organizations, and institutions to support two landmark social impact projects being driven by its young contestants.
Beyond leadership training and competition, AFLC 2026 requires every contestant to plan and execute real social impact projects designed to teach young leaders how to work together across tribal, religious, and social lines.
This year, the contestants are taking that mission forward through two major initiatives: a Mini Project and a Main Project.
The Mini Project: Advocacy Against Cancer
Cancer is becoming increasingly rampant in Nigeria, while too many cases are detected at advanced stages because of limited awareness, inadequate early detection, and restricted access to treatment.
About fifteen child contestants participating in AFLC 2026 have committed themselves to taking action through a nationwide advocacy and fundraising campaign against cancer.
Their ambitious plan is to mobilize 1,000,000 Nigerian children, with each child contributing ₦1,000 toward the initiative.
If the target is achieved, the campaign could raise up to ₦1,000,000,000.
The proposed allocation of the funds is:
• 70% — Cancer early detection and treatment support
• 30% — Public advocacy campaigns across blogs, social media, radio, and other media platforms
The contestants believe that combining financial support with widespread public education can help promote earlier detection, increase awareness, and encourage Nigerians to take cancer prevention and screening more seriously.
A Call to Nigeria’s Public Figures
To strengthen transparency and broaden participation, the campaign is calling on artists, actors and actresses, politicians, clergy, journalists, media personalities, industrial captains, business leaders, and other respected public figures to support the initiative.
Public figures who wish to participate will be encouraged to host dedicated collection accounts in Naira and USDT on their respective platforms, with AFLC organizers added for joint monitoring and accountability.
The goal is to create a transparent system through which Nigerians can participate while supporters and organizers can collectively monitor the funds raised.

The Main Project: A Hospital That Treats 100,000 Children Free Every Year
Following the sixth contest task, AFLC 2026’s young leaders will move toward an even more ambitious social impact vision: the establishment of a hospital estimated at USD 200,000,000 and designed to provide completely free treatment to 100,000 child patients every year.
The project is envisioned as a long-term healthcare institution capable of providing life-changing medical services to children who might otherwise be unable to afford treatment.
Unlike the Mini Project, which has a structured per-head contribution model, the Main Project is an open appeal to eminent Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
Business leaders, professionals, philanthropists, public figures, organizations, institutions, and other people of means are being called upon to support the initiative to the very best of their ability and in whatever capacity they can.
A Sustainable Model for Free Child Healthcare
One of the defining features of the proposed hospital is its sustainability model.
While children would receive treatment completely free of charge, the hospital would also treat adult patients on a fee-paying basis.
Revenue generated from paying adult patients would help fund and sustain the free medical care provided to children.
The vision is therefore not simply to build a hospital through a one-time fundraising campaign, but to establish a self-sustaining healthcare institution capable of continuing its mission for generations.
Connecting the Mini Project to the Main Project
The two AFLC 2026 initiatives are also financially connected.
Any surplus raised above the Mini Project’s ₦1 billion target will be directed toward the Main Project.
This creates a pathway through which the cancer advocacy campaign can contribute directly to the larger vision of establishing a sustainable hospital dedicated to providing free healthcare to children.
