Middle East War Escalates (Iran–US–Israel Conflict)

The war between Iran, the United States, and Israel has intensified into one of the most dangerous global conflicts in recent years. Airstrikes have targeted key military and strategic locations, including Iran’s Kharg Island—an essential oil export hub. Reports indicate that over 90 military sites were struck in a major operation, escalating tensions across the region. 

The conflict has triggered widespread instability, with missile and drone attacks affecting multiple countries in the Middle East. Iran has responded by launching retaliatory strikes and warning global powers against further aggression. The situation has forced many countries to evacuate citizens and heighten security measures, as fears of a broader regional war continue to grow. 

Beyond military impacts, the war is already affecting global economies. Trade routes are disrupted, international flights have been altered, and investors are reacting nervously to the uncertainty. Experts warn that if the conflict continues, it could lead to a prolonged global economic slowdown and further geopolitical instability.

BREAKING: Anthony Joshua Involved In Road Crash In Nigeria. Two Lives Lost.

  British Nigerian boxer and former heavyweight champion,  Anthony Joshua   was involved in a road accident on Monday 29th December along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun State, Nigeria  Gbenga Omotosho, Lagos commissioner for information, said the crash occurred around the Shagamu interchange area of the highway. He added that the Lagos state government promptly deployed an ambulance to the scene. The Lexus SUV in which the British Nigerian boxer was said to have crashed into a stationary truck parked by the roadside. Two people driving with him in the car died on the spot according to eye witness. AJ was said to have survived with minor injuries.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government over reports that it approved a $9 million contract for lobbying services in the United States, describing the move as scandalous, indefensible and a reflection of misplaced priorities. In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the opposition party said the Tinubu administration was more concerned with polishing its international image than addressing Nigeria’s worsening insecurity and economic hardship.
