PRESIDENT TINUBU TRAVELS TO EUROPE AS PART OF YEAR-END SCHEDULE

📰

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Lagos for Europe, where he is continuing his end‑of‑year break before attending official engagements, including the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit in the United Arab Emirates.

According to a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu left Nigeria on Sunday, December 28, 2025, and will first spend time in Europe as part of his holiday before heading to Abu Dhabi for the annual sustainability summit early in January.

The summit, called ADSW 2026, is a major annual global event where world leaders and policymakers gather to discuss sustainable development, innovation, finance, and other global issues.

The presidency said the trip is part of the President’s end‑of‑year break and official engagements abroad, and he is expected to return to Nigeria after completing his international schedule.
