"Doing Another Test Won't Change The Result,Do It 100 Times,The DNA Profile Remains The Same—Adeleke

Businessman and philanthropist Adedeji Adeleke has firmly dismissed calls for repeated DNA testing, insisting that science leaves no room for ambiguity once results are clear. Speaking during an interview on Channels TV, Adeleke explained that multiple tests had already been conducted, with consistent outcomes that conclusively ruled out paternity beyond reasonable doubt.

According to him, three tests were initiated, though only two were valid after one was reportedly compromised. Both confirmed the same DNA profile when samples were analysed in the same laboratory and compared with existing records. Adeleke stressed that the procedure involved saliva swabs, not blood samples, contrary to claims circulating on social media.

Addressing public pressure for yet another test, he was unequivocal: “Doing another test will not change David’s DNA profile. It will still be the same. It’s like a fingerprint.” He explained that DNA, once established, remains unchanged regardless of how many times it is tested. In his words, even if the process is repeated 10 or 100 times, the outcome remains unchanged because it is grounded in science, not sentiment.

Adeleke emphasised that the decision to conduct the tests was personal and not for public consumption. His priority, he said, was to satisfy himself and his family that there was no unclaimed child linked to them. He added that if the child had been biologically theirs, the response would have been immediate and decisive, including legal steps to secure custody.

However, he called on the child’s family to consider testing another individual mentioned by the mother, arguing that this could provide the child with clarity and closure. Adeleke maintained that his stance was not driven by hostility but by facts.
