What it means

International Customs Day celebrates the role of customs administrations in:

The day is led by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and is observed by customs agencies in over 180 countries.

Why January 26?

It marks the first session of the Customs Co-operation Council (now the WCO) held on January 26, 1953 in Brussels.
