THE FIGHT OF LOVE.

Long ago, in a village nestled between green hills and a sparkling river, there lived two brothers named Tunde and Kola.

As children, they were inseparable. They worked together in their father's fields, shared meals, and promised that nothing would ever come between them.

Years passed, and their father died, leaving them a large piece of farmland. At first, they farmed it together peacefully. But one season, a disagreement arose over where to plant their crops.

Tunde wanted to grow maize. Kola wanted to grow yams.

What began as a simple difference of opinion soon became a bitter argument. Harsh words were exchanged. Neighbors took sides. Eventually, the brothers divided the land with a fence and stopped speaking to each other.

Months turned into years.

Though both men appeared strong, their hearts were heavy. Every festival felt incomplete. Every family gathering carried a silence that no one could ignore.

One year, a terrible flood swept through the village. The river overflowed, destroying crops and homes. During the storm, Kola's youngest daughter became trapped in a collapsing hut.

Without hesitation, Tunde rushed through the raging waters. Ignoring the danger, he broke through the damaged wall and carried the frightened child to safety.

When the storm passed, Kola stood before his brother with tears in his eyes.

"After all these years," he said, "you still risked your life for my child."

Tunde smiled.

"You are my brother. Anger built a fence between us, but love never left."

The two men embraced as the villagers cheered.

The next day, they tore down the old fence that had divided their land. Together, they rebuilt their farms and their friendship.

Years later, when people asked how the brothers reunited, they would point to the river and say:

"The flood revealed what the fence had hidden. Love was stronger than pride."

True love does not mean the absence of conflict. It means having the courage to overcome pride, forgive, and fight for what truly matters.
