THE KIND LITTLE EASTER BUNNY.

Long ago, in a meadow filled with wildflowers and sunshine, there lived a small bunny named Oliver. Unlike the other rabbits, Oliver was known not for how fast he could hop or how high he could jump, but for his kind heart.

Every spring, the animals of the forest looked forward to Easter. It was a joyful season when colorful eggs appeared in hidden places, and young animals laughed as they searched for them.

Oliver had been chosen as the Easter Bunny's helper. His job was to deliver baskets of painted eggs throughout the forest. He was thrilled and spent days preparing beautiful eggs in every color imaginable.

On Easter morning, Oliver loaded his cart and set off down the forest path. As he traveled, he met a family of sparrows whose nest had been blown from a tree during a storm.

"We won't have an Easter celebration this year," sighed Mrs. Sparrow.

Oliver looked at his cart. He had a schedule to keep, but he couldn't ignore their sadness. He stopped and helped gather twigs, leaves, and feathers. Together they rebuilt the nest. Before leaving, he gave the sparrow chicks a few brightly colored eggs.

The chicks chirped with delight.

Further along the path, Oliver met a young squirrel sitting beneath an oak tree.

"Why are you crying?" asked Oliver.

"I hurt my paw yesterday," said the squirrel. "Now I can't join the Easter egg hunt."

Oliver thought for a moment. Then he carefully hid a dozen eggs around the squirrel's tree and guided him to each one. Soon the squirrel was smiling again.

As the day continued, Oliver shared eggs with hungry field mice, helped a lost duckling find its mother, and carried water to thirsty animals resting in the warm spring sun.

By evening, his cart was nearly empty.

"Oh dear," Oliver said. "I have given away almost all the eggs!"

Worried, he hurried back to the meadow where the grand Easter celebration was about to begin.

To his surprise, hundreds of animals were waiting for him.

The sparrows had told everyone how Oliver helped rebuild their home.

The squirrel shared how Oliver made sure he could still enjoy Easter.

The mice, ducklings, and many others spoke of his kindness.

Then something wonderful happened.

The animals stepped forward one by one, each carrying a painted egg they had decorated themselves.

Soon the meadow was filled with more colorful eggs than Oliver had started with that morning.

"You taught us the true meaning of Easter," said the wise old owl. "It is not about how many eggs you deliver. It is about sharing joy, helping others, and showing kindness."

Oliver's eyes sparkled with happiness.

That evening, as the sun set behind the hills, the forest celebrated together. The animals laughed, played games, and shared stories. And everyone agreed that it had been the best Easter ever.

From that day on, Oliver became known throughout the forest as The Kind Little Easter Bunny, whose greatest gift was not the eggs he carried, but the kindness he shared wherever he went.

Moral: Kindness is the greatest gift of all. When we help others, happiness grows and spreads far beyond what we can imagine.
